The Data Sharing option is a new feature to enhance NT8 software with your collaboration and make your experience better.
- When you activate it, the system will send the following specific data with us weekly:

- Dispenses using LCP syringe
- Experiments run from Task List
- Experiments run from RM Integration, including barcodes
Your privacy matters and you control your data! It stays on your device until you choose to share it. Opt-out at any time from Tools > Options.
Humidifier & Water Level Sensor Diagnostics for System Failure Analysis
NT8 version 4.9 introduces the Humidifier & Water Level Sensor Diagnostics to simplify troubleshooting for you.
This advanced diagnostic tool assesses components like the humidifier function, humidity sensor, and the minimum & maximum levels of the water level sensor. Any issues identified are quickly detected, ensuring a seamless experience.

Optimizing Dispensing Performance with Flexible Finger Diagnostics
Introducing Flexible Finger Diagnostics to inspect Flexible Fingers for errors and enhance your dispensing experience. The diagnostic assesses the sensor capabilities of Flexible Fingers and identifies height differences between fingers.

Protecting Your Data with Extra Automatic Backup Folder on Local Drive
The Automatic Backup feature receives a significant upgrade in NT8 version 4.9. The backup now runs weekly for double data security.
The extra backup folder can be found in your local drive: “%USERPROFILE%NT8 Backup{NT8 SERIAL NUMBER}”.
Easily Reset Selected Plate on ROCK MAKER Plate Definition
In NT8 version 4.9, deleting your ROCK MAKER Plate Definition in Plate Type Editor is a breeze. Changes are now visible immediately, rather than having to restart the software.
Once you’ve removed the selected plate in ROCK MAKER Plate Definition, swiftly return to the dashboard and choose your desired plate for the experiment. The best part is your ongoing experiment remains unaffected.
